C2H4 Monitoring

Ethylene (C2H4) is a commonly used gas in processing within the chemical industry, such as in the manufacturing of synthetics like polyethylene. It is also used at low levels in the food industry to regulate the ripening of produce.  Levels of C2H4 must be controlled within chemical facilities because the gas becomes hazardous at high pressure, potentially leading to fires. A continuous emissions monitoring system should be used to maintain safe levels of C2H4.

We offer the ideal TDLAS technology for C2H4 monitoring. Our instruments ensure accurate and rapid response to C2H4 levels. The Unisearch LasIR provides:

  • Reliable, accurate data
  • Rapid response – within seconds if desired
  • Multiple location monitoring for both fire detection and combustion optimization
  • Continuous emissions monitoring
  • Freedom from interferences from other gases which could result in erroneous data
  • Easy maintenance and improved process control
